At the Fipa, students can answer questions such as these by taking part in the Young Europeans Jury. Under the aegis of a television professional, they award a special prize to a programme in the competitive section "Reportage and Current Affairs".
Created in 2002, the Young Europeans Jury was open to the fifteen countries then members of the European Union. With the enlargement of the EU, in 2004, the jury members came from the ten new member states: Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia, plus a student from the Aquitaine Region. Since 2005, the jury has been made up of one student from the Aquitaine region, and students from 12 of the 24 remaining EU member states.
