After completing a Research Masters in Philosophy at the Sorbonne, he spent seven years teaching cinema and literature studies at the University of Basel in Switzerland and contributed to various publications including Critique de Cinéma. CEO of several companies, Bernard Chevry notably established a number of professional organisations and events related to toys, music, and communication.
In 1965, Mr. Chevry also launched, set up, and directed the first International Market of Television Programmes in Cannes known today as MIPTV.

Teresa Cavina Teresa Cavina

After spending several years organising exhibitions of contemporary art, Teresa Cavina started her career at La Mostra de Venice in 1988 where, over the course of the following 10 years, she was successively in charge of international relations, film research and selection, coordinating the selection committee, and international distributor and producer relations. Ms. Cavina worked with directors such as Gilo Pontecorvo and Gugliemo Biraghi. “Back then, festivals weren’t as specialized as they are now,” she says. “We did a bit of everything no matter what our job title was.”(

Jean-Michel Ausseil Jean-Michel Ausseil

After several years spent running a private movie theatre (Club 70), Mr. Ausseil became Technical Director of the International Short Film Festival in Lille from 1979-1982. For 18 years –from 1983-1998– he was Assistant Artistic Director for the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. He was in charge of organising several audiovisual festivals.
1983 – Assistant Artistic Director of the Directors’ First World Parliament in Madera.
