This 26’ musical documentary was shot in Paris and Budapest during the rehearsals and recording of Laurent Petitgirard’s new opera Guru about sectarian psychological manipulation, based on a libretto by Xavier Maurel. Maurel and Georges Fenech (President of Miviludes, the Inter-ministerial Mission to Monitor and Control Social Deviance in Sects) were in attendance. Their commentary lends contemporary relevance and context to this work.
