The film recounts the life a French woman between 1944 and 1947. Jeanne Devère, a passionate resistance fighter, a woman far ahead of her generation, and her story plays out in newly liberated Paris and the post-war period. An account of her life from the secrecy of her time in the resistance network to her later literary notoriety.
