Une saison d'opéra
Paris, place de la Bastille, the Opera: the world’s biggest opera house. An immense factory of emotions, but what for? What network of motivations run such a big house? How do the policy of programming, the renewal of productions and the search for new audiences work? On the one hand, the work of production teams (artists and technicians) busy mounting Parsifal, Wozzeck, Les Noces de Figaro. On the other, the strategies of planning, marketing and prices. Hot and cold, the creative passion… and the balancing of numbers. It’s not the ideal vision of a place where art is produced, but the portrait of a community at work, a policy designed to reflect the times and the world of tomorrow.
