Somewhere deep in Romania, time goes by in Hetea, a remote village where some 350 Roms live in makeshift homes. Mornings, all is calm and bucolic. Everyone goes about their business: looking after the cows and horses, going to fetch water, building a new hut or washing the laundry. Suddenly, the mood changes. The serenity gives way to violent shouting and insults. And as the sun sets, the arguments can still be heard.
