Alessandra, Maria Paola, Marina et Liliana come from different regions and social backgrounds. They crossed paths in Rome in the late 60s and 70s. Their lives, related in the first person, are illustrated by archival footage and amateur movies. It is a story of commitment, which began during the years of feminist struggle, to change the world, to engage in politics in a different way. This new world, which germinated at the same time in the minds of an entire generation, a world without violence or domination. Awareness of self, of one’s body, the right to divorce, contraception and abortion to work and leisure. A world in which one emerges from one’s selfishness to go toward the other, men and women together.
