For the last three elections that left a mark on France (21 April 2002, the referendum of 2005, the first ballot of the presidential elections 2007), the members of the Casini family went to vote before gathering as usual for a good meal. During each of these family lunches, they exchange news, discuss events that affected them, talk about the elections and their points of view. This brings out the old family differences, the unending parent-child conflicts and the no less unending brother-sister alliances. As they clash, political identities shift, disagreements are voiced, family bonds strained or reinforced.
