Offseason is almost a poetic portrait of the Northern Dutch island Ameland and its inhabitants. With his favourite ‘long shots’, Jelle Dijkstra filmed the daily lives of the islanders during the winter months. This provided beautiful images which could be seen as living pictures, as pieces of reality shown in tight frames.
