This documentary tries to take a look at the question of virginity for Iranian girls and efforts to maintain intact hymen well before the marriage. This film aims to look into financial and psychological prices Iran’s traditional society pays to retain this tradition and keep it untouched. It wants to throw the spotlight on the fact that girls are insulted owing to their gender. Their identity is overshadowed by their sex and their mental and thinking potential is overlooked.
