Une République en exilA Republic in Exile
For 3 decades 160,000 Sahraouis took refuge in camps located in the south west of Algeria, it has become their place of exile. People taken as hostages, a torn-up people, the only people in Africa waiting for acknowledgement of their self-determination. This documentary highlights the reality lived by the Sahraoui people, exiled far away from their country, forced to survive under extreme conditions and forgotten by the media. This is an opportunity of seeing a broken people who are facing a forced exile and the resulting sorrow. Sahraoui people keep the hope of peace and to return in their country occupied by Morocco. It is also a human tragedy which will never end.
