Un visage pour la préhistoire
November 2008. A century after its donation to the Musée d'archéologie nationale, the world's finest collection of prehistoric art opens to the public. A collection of 10,000 objects that includes some of the masterpieces of mankind. Assembled in the 19th century by amateur archeologist Edouard Piette, these small engravings and sculptures tell us both about our ancestors as well as the man who exhumed them at a time when prehistoric sciences were in their infancy. This film introduces us to a thrilling scientific and human adventure.
