Sora to Khomroy

The Sky and Khomroy

For 30 years, in Maesai – north border of Thailand – an Italian priest has managed a children's home for 150 mountain tribe children. He has haunted the small villages to support the mountain tribe people who are threatened by drugs, prostitution and AIDS and has protected the exposed with love and passion. There, even the youngest child tries to respect himself and lives with others. Junko Miura, who lives in Japan where people are economically rich but lost happiness in their busy life, directed and shot alone Sora to Khomroy with her digital video camera: from people of Maesai she discovered the wealth of spirit.
