Serge Rezvani
Songwriter, writer, poet and painter, Serge Rezvani, born to a Russian mother and Persian father, could be someone out of a novel so much is his life steeped in a romanticism that in turn enriches his works of imagination. He has always flirted with notoriety - he is the author of songs popularized by Truffaut and Godard. He is a recognized painter who rejects the commercial system and since 1967 has been the author of an imaginary biography and the poet of exceptional love. At 80, he still composes on the fringes of society. Filmed at his home in Paris, this portrait draws on archive footage, photos and several songs performed by their author, including Le Tourbillon de la vie and Ta Ligne de hanche.
