Rroms en scèneRoma on Stage
In the suburbs of Paris, some Romas of Romanian origin live eviction after eviction. Suffering from an eternal image of the antisocial in the eyes of the governments, the media and the local population, they find support only in the rare associations that fight their cause but which have access to little means. They come to France to work knowing that at any moment they might be obliged to leave all they have behind them. Tomorrow if they must they will leave France in exchange for an extra few more cents a kilo for scrap metal. Above all this life style mixed with a culture of dance and music, how do they find the energy to begin again when they don’t know what tomorrow will bring?
