Oh, Mummy Dear...

Margarita Andreyevna is a midwife in a maternity hospital in a small Ukrainian city. This is where the wives of oligarchs, peasant women and substitute mothers come to give birth to their children. These patients meet and learn about one another, exchange their experiences, joys and fears. The lives of the women this documentary follows will be transformed during their stay. Anna has already had two stillborn children, and fears for the third. Polina is the mother of six girls; she is 42 and is afraid to tell her husband that their next child will again be a girl. Oksana is a surrogate mother; she is carrying a child for Nathalia, a businesswomen who is also her husband’s mistress.
