Les Travailleu(r)ses du sexe

Sex Workers

Inaccurately called the "world’s oldest profession," prostitution remains an "obscure object of hatred and desire." It has symbolized male exploitation of women in all societies. But since the Sarkozy Act, some women and men have openly proclaimed the right to freely sell their bodies and sexual practices and demand that their trade be as respected as any other, with its rights and obligations. This film looks at the lives, practices and accounts of women and men who freely and professionally use their sexuality.
