Les Gardiens du désert

A dozen Aboriginal families from Kimberley left their community in Fitzroy Crossing for a 10-day initiatory discovery to their ancestral land, deep in the desert of red sand. The aim of this expedition organized by the NGO "Yiriman Project" was to tighten family bonds and introduce the young to the holy sights. This return to roots should allow the children, lost between two worlds, to reclaim the culture and identity of the world’s oldest people and escape the ravages of alcohol and drug.
