France possesses only five Caravaggios in its museums, three at the Louvre and two in the provinces. No surprise then that the two paintings attributed to the painter, "The Pilgrims at Emmaus" et "The Disbelief of Saint Thomas", and which Loches-en-Touraine showcased in 2006, continue to produce a bombshell effect in the art world.
