La Dentelle du signe
In June 1999, writer Annie Cohen suffered a stroke. This film accompanies her from 2000 to 2008, on the favorite sites of painter Augustin Lesage and Albert Camus, as well as in the 13th district in Paris... It evokes memories and words, from the evocation of her first book, La Dentelle du cygne, to her recent Géographie des origines, from her political commitment to her portrait of François Mitterrand, from Algeria to the banks of the Bièvre. An eight-year old lacework of biography and literature, this film is the story of a reconstruction. It bears witness to a return to writing, of the enduring of suffering and remission thanks to literature.
