L'Humour et la Politique
Only a few years ago, few artists dared to make fun of politicians and emblematic Frenchmen, doing everything to avoid eccentricity, always showing a strict and unchanging facade. This custom is now outdated: politicians are delighted to be imitated and it’s said they do everything to invite a send-up. Political personalities are becoming more human and their sense of self-mockery is a guarantee of sympathy for voters. In this film the two "camps" have the floor: political figures such as Jean-Pierre Raffarin as well as humorists. The subject is illustrated by several priceless sketches and politicians savor the kidding of colleagues as artists exaggerate.
