Our political institutions turned 50 in 2008. During this half-century, France was transformed. Politicians discovered communications and learned how to master television, to stage a little of their lives as a method of seduction, leaving nothing to chance. This film looks at the different political postures of the six presidents of the Fifth Republic through the mise en scene of their vacations. Even if they are never on vacation when they hold the nuclear code. These vacations, in any case, reveal a communications or political strategy, but also more secret aspects of the president.
