The love story between Vladimir and Alyona may not be exceptional in any way, if it did not take place within the community of the modern-day slaves, the Ukrainian labourers in Praha. Alyona is an energetic young woman who is firmly resolved to do everything in her power to secure a better life for her twelve-year-old son Seriozha. Vladimir is an impetuous and passionate man. He loves Alyona and would do anything in the world for her, but with his explosive temperament he often acts before he thinks. Soon he finds himself in the setting of mafia practices...
