7 dias em Burkina7 Days in Burkina
The film shows part of the history and the culture of Burkina Faso, an African country that has one of the worst HDI (Human Development Index) of the world. In spite of the poverty, there is a variety of cultural events, such as the “Atypical Nights of Koudougou”, one of the most important music festivals of the continent. The documentary directors Carlinhos Antunes and Márcio Werneck are two Brazilian musicians who were invited in 2007 to represent their country in the festival. They decided to show a little bit of the society and the diversity they discovered there.
