In 1947, in one of the cells of the Warsaw Mokotow prison were put three people: Major General Jurgen Stroop – pacificator of the Jewish Rising in the Warsaw Ghetto, Gustaw Schilke – the SS-Untersturmfuhrer from Hannover, and Kazimierz Moczarski – the Polish Home Army officer, Head of the Investigative Dept of the Executive Committee of the Underground Struggle.
After many years Kazimierz Moczarski wrote a book containing his conversations with the Warsaw Ghetto executioner of which this film is an adaptation.
