Prosta HistoriaA Simple Story
This is a story of a mother looking for the murderers of her son Janek Stawisinski, a miner shot dead 25 years ago during martial law in Poland. Until now the trial of the policemen from the special platoon of Zomo, who pacified the Wujek Mine, has not been brought to an end yet. Still, those who gave the order to shoot at the miners, General Kiszczak and General Jaruzelski, cannot be convicted. The mother of the miner has only one wish: she wants the murderers of her son to ask her forgiveness. Her wish has not been granted till today nor has anybody thanked her in the name of Poland for the sacrifice of her son's life. Quite the opposite, since the names of martial law victims have been forgotten, the guilty cannot be convicted, and those who imposed martial law are called "people of honor".
