Early 1999. Libyan medical authorities learn that more than 400 children under treatment in a hospital where they received blood transfusions are infected with HIV. 23 Bulgarians working in or for the hospital, and a Palestinian doctor, are arrested and jailed. Following a criminal investigation, the Palestinian and five of the nurses are charged with several crimes punishable by the death penalty. This film gives us the Bulgarian point of view of the trial in Libya during which the Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor were tried for allegedly having intentionally infected 400 Libyan children.
