Leonardo a Vinci, l'origine del genioLeonardo in Vinci, the Origin of Genius
An evocative account of Leonardo's genius, a unique flower that bloomed amid the gentle hills of Vinci and inspired him to say, "The eye is the window of the soul". This televisual attempt to take a long, particularly intense and admiring "look" places the eye, the gaze at the center of the "mandala" of fruition. Through the use of HD and tracking shots, we are able to move in on such works as The Adoration Of the Magi and The Last Supper, analysing them and "seeing" them, in a way that no conventional human viewer could, and to show the effects of time on these masterpieces which, rather than diminishing their beauty, strangely enriches and renders them even more evocative
