Jacques lives in a wheelchair, talks with difficulty and cannot eat or wash alone. He is nearly 40 and now needs to be attractive and aspire to a satisfying emotional and sex life. He is the main character in this film with four voices. Jacques’s voice and those of three women, also handicapped. They have shared a moment of their lives with him, three love stories that have deeply affected them. They all speak up with a sense of propriety but without inhibitions to describe how hard it is to be a couple, to overcome an ever-present handicap. The difficulties of these four individuals refer us to our own hesitations, our own sexuality. We come to realize the place it has in our own daily equilibrium: the sex act, of course, but most of all in the games of seduction, in accessible fantasies, in the way we look at our own body – all things that come naturally and which we take for granted. But what about this man and these women?
