Making a film about Higelin means pinning down a man who is always on the alert. Pinning down the movement, the pulsation, the thrill, the coming and going: this unceasing waltz that drives him. Higelin isn’t much of a talker, but he loves to tell stories. When that happens, it’s not his ego talking, it’s his world that becomes visible. The worlds of Higelin are ours, too.
