Yiming came to Beijing to study medicine after losing his job in his hometown; Mu Yu is a writer trying his luck in Beijing; Bian Hongqi is a poet and a counterfeiter of official documents. They rent a run-down farmhouse together. Sha Xiu is Yiming’s wife, and her arrival brings the three men not only vitality and happiness but also discord and trouble.
