Dans la boîte
In 1967 in Besançon, the workers of Rhodiaceta, a textile branch of Rhône-Poulenc, go on strike. Their struggle is filmed by Chris Marker, but they object to the way the film maker portrays them. He decides to hand over the camera to them, and along with other great French film makers (Godard, Gavras, Muel…) teaches them the language of film. The result is ten short films. 35 years later, one of these films is shown in the factory where it was shot, and we witness the reactions of the workers and militants whose 70s workplace it describes.
