Confidences d'équipageShipmates
For the first time, the French Navy granted us the rare privilege of spending an entire month aboard the aircraft career Charles de Gaulle. From 28 February to 30 June 2006, the CDG, the navy’s flagship, steeped in symbols and mysteries, object of many fantasies and prejudices, was on operational mission somewhere in the Persian Gulf. It was an especially intense period in the lives of its crew, despite the optimal preparations made beforehand by the men and women aboard. If the fascinating spectacle of takeoffs and landings is relatively familiar, it is more rare to have a visit that take place through the eyes of its residents.
