This movie shows the world premiere of the opera by Roger Waters, with libretto written by Etienne and Nadine Roda–Gil : chorographed by Janusz Jozefowicz, the spectacle took place into the Wiekli theatre of Poznan, in Poland, in September 2006. That’s a story of the French Revolution, interpreted as a tale of freedom or a man’s constant struggle in search of freedom; as an universal picture of revolution process as such, of every time and every place; as an example of how the revolutionary ideas spread and lose their initial force and meaning.
