Bergman - Teatern, Fårö och FilmenBergman - Theatre, Island and Cinema
Ingmar Bergman was one of the world’s most important and influential filmmakers. With such titles as Smiles of a Summer’s Night, The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries and The Silence, he has won respect and admiration. He died at the age of eighty-five, having spent more than sixty of those years directing. Now, for the first time, his world is shown to us on the desolate and mysterious Baltic island of Fårö. This programme includes numerous clips from Bergman’s best films and unique behind-the-scenes material from his private archives.
