Animalamina - Jack Vanarsky
Jack Vanarsky, Argentinian by birth but French by adoption, is an unusual artist. A freethinker who has invented a strange world of objects that slowly move to the rhythm of breath. Composed of slats, his graphic works and sculptures take on surprising shapes in a subtle interplay with movement. Creator of "laméllisations", he has exhibited his work in many contemporary art centers, collections and galleries in Europe and America. This film explores Vanarsky’s universe, where humor is masterfully juxtaposed with a philosophy of existence and a pataphysical consideration of art that gives the spectator a breath of fresh air and nicely matches the imaginative fancy of the artist.
