Irene, a repentant former ETA militant, is pardoned and released from prison. After a period spent wandering the streets of Barcelona, where she unfortunately makes a few encounters, she finally decides to go home to Bilbao. Her way home becomes a road movie that will allow her to flash back to her old life, previously haunted by a maniacal extremism in which death has its say.
