Vidange perdueThe Only One
Lucien is a sprightly if stubborn octogenarian. When his wife dies, he refuses to live any longer with his daughter, Gerda. He returns to his own house. Mathilde, the robust wife of his best friend, Felix, helps him with the household chores. Lucien and Mathilde have been intimate for many years. But living alone is hard on Lucien. The only person who really brings light into his life is his granddaughter, Julie, who is barely 20. But she’s going to Paris as part of an exchange program. That’s when Lucien meets his new neighbor, Sylvia, a scheming lady of 46. Thanks to her, Lucien starts a new life. She teaches him how to do the housework by himself and even gives him some basic lessons in using a computer. But Mathilde and Gerda are highly wary.
