Even if thousands of heart transplants are practiced around the world nowadays, the operation remains a highly delicate one, especially when children are concerned. A camera crew filmed the transplant of a child's heart in real time: from the announcement of a child donor's death until the awakening of Lorena, a little girl with a serious congenital heart defect.
