This film was shot in January 2006 in Antarctica during the polar summer. There has been much scientific research done here to try to understand the various phenomena that today preoccupy our planet: the hole in the ozone layer, the global warming, the melting of the ice caps. What interest is there in doing scientific research in Antarctica? What constraints and problems do these missions face? This film tries to answer these questions as it also takes us on a breathtaking journey to beautiful landscapes inhabited by an extraordinary fauna.
