Tous les hommes sont des romans
Having missed her train and unable to make it at her appointment at the job seeker agency, Alice, a medievalist librarian asks her kind and helpful neighbour, Barbara, whom she hardly knows, to go and apologise for her. But what Alice does not know is that Barbara is a well-known call girl. And a famous TV journalist, overcome with social awareness, has decided to dedicate a TV program to what Alice is experiencing as a job seeker. One is mistaken for the other. Given the impossibility to re-establish the truth for fear of creating a scandal, the “mind woman” and the “body woman” are forced to momentarily swap their roles: they will gain out of all this a widened knowledge of themselves and of life generally.
