International terror groups see air travel as the soft belly of the technologically superior west. They are ready to harness the technology, riding it into oblivion, with a few hundred innocent people on board. The fragile operation of getting every flight safely on time, becomes a tempting breach for small groups with little means and great determination. June 27th 1976 the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Baader-Meinhoff Brigades hijack an Air France place en route to Paris for Tel Aviv's airport.
