Fourteen pictures evoke the mysterious fairy-tale moods and strange dream scenarios of the early twentieth century Hungarian painter, Lajos Gulácsy.
This film is the fifth episode of a series in which the art and life of such painters as Chagall, Renoir, Bruegel and Rousseau are explored. In 2005, the series was included into a course program connecting painting and cinema at Haifa University, Israel, along with contributions by Peter Greenaway and Derek Jarman.
