Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda CentralDream of a Dominical Afternoon in the Alameda Central
An exciting journey into one of the masterpieces of Mexican mural art, Diego Rivera's Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park. In this open air fresco painted in 1946-1947, Rivera called up his memories of childhood and adolescence along with three key moments in Mexican history: colonialism, independence and revolution. Alameda Park acts as a main character - here the artist's memories and the emblematic figures of Mexico merge in a journey through history.
