Récit d'exil
Two generations meet, two sides of the Mediterranean: Monsieur Djilali, the only Arab taxi driver in Toulouse, who left Algeria at the age of 50 to save his children, and myself, a young Frenchwoman trying to grasp the tragic destiny of an entire population. This encounter gives rise to the desire to tell a story, the story of a people who have lost hope.
