Radość pisaniaThe Joy of Writing
This is the exceptional portrait of Wislawa Szymborska, a Polish poetess, laureate of the Nobel Prize in 1996. After the Nobel award she retreated to her chalet in the mountains to escape reporters and well-wishers and to write her acceptance speech. All her life, Szymborska has avoided literary gatherings, but her personal example and devotion to poetry have inspired young women all over the world to choose career in literature. She wished to be remembered only through her writings but in addition to the reading of the poems, her friends paint the picture of a lively and surprisingly whimsical companion.
