Luonto ja terveysNature and Health
Finnish-Russian Kostya is in his thirties and lives an unstable life. He cleans the underground and runs small errands for his family friend Alexey, who rewards Kostya's efforts with a temporary place to live and occasional sums of money. When Kostya moved to Finland with his parents in the early 1990s, life changed significantly for the teenage boy. His mother died shortly after moving and his father Anatoly grew distant. Neither Kostya nor his father is able to talk about the dead mother and it disrupts their relationship. Kostya keeps his distance from his father and his thoroughly Russian friends – the men of the Nature and Health Society, who lean on traditions and each other. But when Alexey’s latest find, Masha, arrives from St. Petersburg, Kostya has to move back in with his father.
