They are six, three girls and three guys, part of the first wave of courageous, steadfast resistance fighters. At the Liberation, they are 20 years old. They have nothing in common: neither social background, nor temperament, nor ambition. Two things unite them: communism and their friendship. Between 1945 and 1965, society changes and so do they. Work, marriage and children are battles lost or won. Their ideals have a hard time of it, but friendship is still there, stronger than ever. Through thick or thin.
