Le Soleil et la Mort

Sun and Death

On April 26, 1986, a nuclear accident sent up a toxic cloud at Chernobyl, in northern Ukraine. In the days that followed, the cloud spread 70% of its load in radionucleids across the Belarusian territory, seven kilometers from the nuclear plant. What the world didn't know is that the cloud drifted across the northern hemisphere in a week, releasing the remainder of its mortal deposits. 20 years on, and Belorussia, the theater of this film, is plagued by the long-term ingestion of small doses of radioactivity.
This film aims to bear witness to the process of slow death at work, expose the impending genetic catastrophe, denounce the international conspiracy of silence that has beset this country and alert the world to the danger that this organized disinformation has created.
