La Vie en chantantI'm Alive Because I Sing
The story of the singers of "Les Olivettes," one of the most popular musical cafés in Belgium. A convivial place where regulars go up on the stage to enjoy their moment of fame. Take for instance 83-year-old Stéphanie, the "little mama of Les Olivettes" —Every Sunday afternoon her son brings her so she can sing two or three songs. Or Baron Francis, another regular, who comes every Sunday. The life of the café owners, the Roka family, is also closely linked to the café. Denise and Emile Roka met at Les Olivettes, got engaged there, married and now live over the café. For the Rokas, as for all the singers, Les Olivettes is something to live for.
